Does Taking Adderall Cause Blood In Stools?

My son is 13 years old and has taken Adderal for the last couple of years. It wasn't working so the Dr. put him on VYVANSE about 3 weeks ago. Well he just told me tonight that his stool has been bloody and bright red for the last 3 weeks. Is that a side affect from the medicine??
