Does Taking Adderall Cause Breathing Problems And Chronic Sinus Infections?

I have a feeling there is going to be a bill after I write this.....(:
My 18 yr. old son just went to our internist today for a sinus infection.
He was also given a bit of a lecture. He must have smelled pot on him. Yes he does smoke, a lot ): . I used to smoke that and cigarettes, note used.
My son gets almost chronic sinus infections, so bad from the post nasal drip he vomits.
He is on adderall also. The doctor order a lot of blood tests. He said something that maybe the adderall might have some effect on his breathing problems? I wasn't there , so ....... I am the one that told the doctor about his pot smoking. No he didn't divulge (against the law anyway). I suppose I will my son the doctor probably could smell it on his jacket.
My son has been off the adderal I found out recently for about a month. He said it now makes him unable to sleep.
My son sounds like a 4 pack a day cig./pot smoker who is 70 not 18. I am sorry for the length. I am afraid (legally), his health is number one of course. My family has lost several member's due to copd and similar things. Sorry for for the extreme length.
