Does Taking Algix Cause Increase In Blood Pressure?

my blood pressure has suddenly gone to 170 100, i realized it must have risen because i get a headache when it passes 140 85. my usual blood pressure is 120 80. i am a 51 year old woman and overweight. i had taken algix for the first time wednesday night....could be the problem? i feel worn out. thank you
