Does Taking Amoxicillin Twice A Day Cause Adverse Effects?

I gave my 5 year old son two doses of amoxicillin. He is supposed to get 6.9ml of liquid in the morning. I thought it was twice a day , but its just once a day. He had it this morning, and I just gave him another dose. Im pretty sure its ok, but wanted to check

The most common side effects, in this case, can be diarrhea/loose stools and nausea.

I would recommend giving daily probiotics.

There is nothing to be worried about it.
