Does Taking Bystolic With Pantoprazole And Clonazepam Cause Side Effects?

Good Afternoon, I have not tanned in 4 years and wanted to start going about twice a week. I am taking bystolic, pantoprazole and clonazepam (only at night). Will any of these cause photosensitivity? I have seen people actually having loss of pigmentation, white patches, not the fungus, on their bodies from certain medications. Thank you!

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Drugs like nebivolol and pantoprazole is less likely to be associated with photo-sensitivity whereas clonazepam intake may cause light sensitivity or photosensitivity. So consider alternate drug for clonazepam.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
