Does Taking Codeine, Paracetamol And Ibuprofen Often Result In Sickness?

I had severe stitch like pain around my right shoulder blade and went to A n E on Monday where they did ECG and normal obs which were all good . I was prescribed with codeine phosphate, paracetamol and ibuprofen which make me feel quite sickly while easing pain so taking half dose which results in feeling more pain. i have been off work since Monday, resting but today i feel really out of sorts and back to square one. please help
