Hi, My marriage is fixed on 1st march, I am having a regular period on every 28th of month. Now I am planning to get my period early. I visited local doctor on 8th feb (8th day of my previous period) and suggested to take Duoluton-L 1tablet per day till February 18th.Will taking Duoluton-L affect my pregnancy? I am afraid please help.
Once you stop consuming the medication for prescribed days, you should get your periods by 5 to 7 days. Subsequently your periods would be regular as before. Hence, it would not affect pregnancy in future.
Kindly take the medication as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S,

Does Taking Duoluton-L Affect Future Pregnancy?
Hi, Duoluton L tablet contains Ethinylestradiol and Levonorgestrel as active ingredients. It is used as a hormonal contraceptive, in the treatment of dysfunctional uterine bleeding and to alter the periods.
