Does Taking Mala D After Unprotected Intercouse Prevent Unwanted Pregnancy?

Hello doctor.. Last day I had done unsafe sex without any precaution. And after that I had take a pill of Mala D.. So it will make me safe or not... Plz suggest me. I have to take any other pill for stopping pregnancy or Mada - D will works. Only one pill I take OK. Should I eat regularly this pill or not. But we r not having sex daily only yesterday we done. Plz answer me

Hi, I think taking only one pill will not help in preventing pregnancy. You have to take higher dose orally an emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours of contact. If you want mala D to be effective, take it daily starting from day 2 to day 5 of your periods.
