Does Taking Mefenamic Acid Tablets Cause Delay In Periods?
Hey Doc,
I have very painful periods so my doctor prescribed mefenamic acid for me to ease the pain. I took them and felt the pain was significantly eased. I was told to take 3 tablets a day with meals and i did. Now, my period is overdue by a week which never happens to me. I have weird unsettled pain in my stomach at the moment and keep passing of wind. Yesterday, i went to the hospital to have a pregnancy test done and it was negative. But I am still worried. Is it possible that the mefenamic acid has any part to play in this?
