Does Taking Piracetam And Modafinil Together Cause Dizziness?

Hello doctor, i am focussing on my career life and so i have to study very hard to get the job in civil services. But the problem is that when start reading newspapers, i try my best to read it in 1 hour but end up reading more than 2 hours and still some points i don t able to understand because i am a slow reader and i have to Some lines repeatedly. I have a concentration problem also. I am a day dreamer. I am not able to realise that it is my important phase of my life to study. So i am prescribing the medicines, hypercon-25 two times a day, piracetam tablets pirament-800 two times a day and Modafinil tablets modanite-100 One time in the morning. I think These do not effect me at all. Instead i feel like sleepy, dizzy and lazy. Are these medicine combinations are good for me? Sometimes i feel i should discontinue medicines and sometimes like it is effecting me little bit. What should i do? Do i really need medicines or not? Please Please help me.

Hi,

It looks like you are having side effects of these medications that is causing you dizziness, or drowsiness. You should stop these medications. Chronic tiredness causes lack of concentration, emotional stress & any type of drug addiction. Take plenty of sleep, come out of fatigue, stay away from stress/anxiety & addictions if any. Maintain healthy lifestyle, find time to do exercise, stay hydrated and well nourished. If problem continues, visit ER, get examined, it could be ADHD for which you need to be treated.
