Does Taking Plan B Cause Early And Long Periods?

Hi I am a 31yr old Female. I have a question regarding my menstrual cycle. I had recently come off of birth control pills for about 2 weeks. During that time I had unprotected sex so i took Plan B(on Dec. 25th) the very next day i had some spotting and then what I believe to be my period.(That would have made my period a week and a half early) My concern is I have had bleeding for 9 days now. Is this normal for taking Plan B and stopping the birth control pill? I have recently started taking them again. I'm hoping that will put things back in order.
