Does Taking Plan-B Safe During Ovulation?

I stopped my birth control about 3 weeks ago. I had sex Wednesday, no condom, and he came inside me. I took a plan b about 1/2 hours after the fact. That day was also my ovulation day. Being that I was ovulation, will the plan be still work, or no because I ve ovulated already?

Hi,

Plan-B is an effective and safe contraceptive pill and failure rate is low. It doesn’t matter whether it is your ovulation or not.

Chances for pregnancy is very low. You can go for a urine pregnancy test just for reassurance.
