Does Taking Prothiaden During Pregnancy Affect The Foetus?

Hi,I m taking prothiaden 75mg (two tablets at night) I think i might be pregnant and won t know for at least another week. I m woundering if prothiaden will have a big side effect on baby while I wait for sure if I m pregnant or not and then make doctor appointment? I don t wannastop taking it and then find out I m not pregnant,what should I do?

Prothiaden may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.
Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk.
