Does Taking Remeron,Diotine And Gabapentin Indicate Positive Results In Drug Test?
I am a house manager for a sober living house and need some questions about certain Medications. Will remeron, diotine, and gabapentine test positive on a 12 panel drug test? We do not allow any benzos, suboxine and such in the household. It is of vital importance to maintain a clean household.
Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. The 12 penal test consists of drug screens for many tests. Benzodiazepines, opioids, cannabis etc are the drugs that are targeted. The drugs you are taking are Rameron (Mirtazapine), Diotine and Gabapentine. Out of these drugs Gabapentine can result in false positive test for benzos and this should be disclosed to them before the drug screens.
Gabapentine have actions similar to benzodiazepines and has potential to cause false positive test for benzodiazepiens. If possible report the status to them before test.
