Hi,

Sandomigran is not reported to cause weight loss but it may cause increase in appetite and weight gain. The few side effects of sandomigran are dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, increased appetite, weight gain, muscle and joint pains, nausea and fatigue. The above mentioned are common side effects. So, only weight loss is an odd one out.

Your weight loss may be due to any other reasons like inadequate food intake, increased physical activity, and stressful conditions. As you have had all the tests done and are normal, you don't need to worry at all. You did not have any drastic weight loss and will surely gain weight in a month or two. Coming to growing taller, as you are already 18 yr old, there are very minimal chances of growing tall.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
