Does Taking Verapamil And Losartan Together Cause Fatigue?

MY wife is taking verapamil 120 mg 1x/day, for headaches. She is also taking losartan for her blood pressure, which her docs have cut back since she started taking verapamil. She has been diagnosed with arthritis in the neck verterbrae, and suffers from headaches, which has been diagnosed as migraine. She has been trying other medications, such as topamol, topamax. With these medications side effects are excessive tiredness, including with verapamil. Any ideas? My email YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

I would like to tell you that Verapamil and Topiramate are given as prophylaxis against migraine while Losartan is an antihypertensive. I don't think this combo will cause fatigue.

I would advise you to get her blood profile done to diagnose whether she is having low haemoglobin levels which may lead to tiredness and fatigue. Also get her thyroid profile done as hypothyroidism may also lead to tiredness and fatigue.
