Does Taking Biaxin For Flu Like Symptoms Delays Period?
On 11/08 i went to the doctor for flu like symptoms they prescribed a zpack, and medrol. I missed my period on 12/04 and I was thinking it was because of the medrol. On 12/18 I went back to the doctor and he prescribed biaxin. I missed my period again on 01/04. I am having sex and not using birth control. Could I have missed me period again because of the biaxin?
If you are currently sexually active and not using any contraception then you need to rule out pregnancy by doing a home pregnancy test. These tests are usually accurately able to detect pregnancy.
Physical illness or stress is one of the other causes of a delay in menstruation. If the test is negative then it is possible that your current illness is causing your period irregularity.
I hope this helps
