Hello,

You have been on birth control pills, you are not getting your periods even after stopping to take BC pills. Your pregnancy tests are negative, however get USG done to rule out ectopic pregnancy. If you were having unprotected sex, you can get a repeat pregnancy test done after a couple of days. Due to hormonal changes your periods may get delayed. Other factors that may cause a delay in periods are anemia, stress, strenuous exercises, dietary changes, loss of weight or obesity, thyroid problems, PCOS. etc.

To induce menstruation you can take Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days. After you stop taking it, your periods should come in 5-6 days. In the meantime, take home made food rich in minerals, iron and high in protein. You can take Uterine tonic for uterine health. Take quality sleep and relax.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Most women get their period about 2-4 weeks after stop taking birth control measures. In some cases it may take up to 3 months for a woman's menstrual period to return to normal. Again, it is quite common for women to experience late, irregular or even absent menstrual cycles after stop taking birth control measures. Some women also may experience vaginal discharge, vaginal bleeding, spotting or breakthrough bleeding between periods etc after stop taking birth control measures. These symptoms after stop taking birth control measures are usually self limiting and go away over time without any medical treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
