Does Taking Double Dosage Of Amoxicillin Cause Serious Side Effects?
Hi, I m 120pounds and 5 2, I accidentally took 2 (500mg) amoxicillin at the time that I was supposed to take it, but I took 2 instead of 1. Should I be concerned? Also the next time that I m required to take it, should I just skip it since I already took that extra one or just take another one? Thank you in advance

You should be okay because you still have not gone over the total allowed daily dose.
When you need to take the next dose however, as you mentioned, then you should take only one tablet. Normally amoxicillin is 3 times a day, but because you would have accidentally used excess, you can skip the next dose, as you mentioned and only use the last dose for today.
