Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

You are not getting period since last 3 months. Generally meprate is given to induce the period due to hormonal imbalance.Nothing to worry. By taking one pill extra does not cause dangerous side effect. Generally it is given for 5 to 7 days to induce the period. It supports the endometrium and when you stop, withdrawal bleeding can occur.Period will occur 5-7 days after stopping the pill.

If it will not come then consult the gynecologist and undergo reproductive hormone analysis, USG scan to confirm other causes like ovarian cyst, endometriosis, adenomyosis, thyroid dysfunction. Meanwhile avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water and do regular exercise.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sagar
