Does Taking Iron Supplements Cause Arthritis In Knee And Thumb?

I have been taking 325 Mg per day of iron supplement for years. I am now 65 years old and have begun experiencing arthritis symptoms in my right knee and and left thumb. My knee, especially has been extremely painful since mid-January. Could my sudden symptoms be due to my iron intake? I take other meds, as well, and wonder if the combo could be causing my knee pain.
