Does Taking Laxatives Cause Abdominal Pain And Vaginal Bleeding?
I used to take laxatives and purge but it resulted in hospital. I ve stopped purging daily but less frequent now as it causes burning in my stomach. I stupidly took 3 laxatives yesterday and my lower and upper abdomen is in pain I have not been to the toilet since last night but I ve started bleeding from the front passage please can you advise what is happening?

Your symptoms seem to be related to side effects of laxative. I recommend using a spasmolytic such as Buscopan to relieve the abdominal pain. I also suggest to eat a fiber rich diet and drink a lot of liquids.
