Does Taking Medication For Low Thyroid Levels Cause Acne?

Hi, I have a question. I have recently had my thyroid levels checked and they are low. My concern is...if I get them leveled out is there a chance that my skin with breakout in pimples. I have recently tried bio identical progesterone cream for early menopause and I had a horrible outbreak of acne.
