Does Taking More Than Prescribed Dosage Of Thyronorm Affect Baby During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am 8 weeks Pregnancy lady.I have hypothyroidism.According to the prescription I am suppose to take 62.5 mcg of thyronorm tablets.but today morning i took tablets twice and dosage of 125 mcg in total (before breakfast and after breakfast).does this have an effect on baby?!.please let me know.

I understand your concerns.Just taking one dose of extra thyronorm tablet doesn't harm your baby in any ways.

So,no need to worry.But make sure you take appropriate doses of tablets every day regularly before breakfast.

Also check your thyroid profile every 3 months.
