Does Taking Morning After Pill Cause Cramping With Light Spotting During Periods?

I need some advise as to why i'm having terrible cramps but a drip like period? my period acts like it came yesterday, but there have been only a fews drops of blood since and i'm wondering if it has anything to do with the moring after pill i took earlier in the month?
