Does Taking Norethisterone Change The Ovulation Cycle?

Hello I was prescribed Norethistorone to delay my period for a week while i was on holiday. I stopped taking them and had my period 2-3 days later. Does taking it change your normal ovulation to the delayed one? and does it affect your next period for being a bit delayed?
