Does Taking Pancreatic Enzymes Help To Cure Chronic Pancreatitis?
I HAD A LIVE LIVER TRANSPLANT 8 YEARS AGO, AND SINCE THEN HAVE HAD APPROX 8 ERCP DUT TO ALKPH ENZYMES IN EXCESS OR 1000-14000, THE LAST ERCP HAS LEFT ME WITH A CHRONIC CASE OF PANCERTRISIS, CAN I TAKE OR WILL PANCREASE ENZYMES HELP MY CONDITIONS ? THANKS

Chronic pancreatitis leads to enzyme deficiencies. These enzymes are essential for digestion.
So you would get benefitted by taking pancreatic enzyme supplements. This will not cure chronic pancreatitis, but will prevent its symptoms.
