Does Taking Primolut Affect The Fetus?

i had delayed in my preriods and after going through all the test, the pregency test came negitive and the doctor suggest me primulot. desipite taking the medicine for 5 days i didnt had preriods and went for another test in which pregency test came positive 4 weeks and 5 days. will the medicine have any kind of effect on me or my child s health in future.
