Hi,
When some medications are taken along with oral contraceptives, there is a drug interaction and the pills thereby become less effective. During such courses, additional protection is needed. Tetralysal is not to be used in pregnancy and hence, if you suspect pregnancy, please stop the drug immediately and consult your doctor for further advice. The medication is deposited in the bones of the fetus leading to bony deformities and also discoloration of the teeth. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
