Does The Biotin Intake Affect The Kidneys?

Does the vitamin, Biotin affect your kidneys? I ve been taking them for a couple years now, and I typically take one in the morning and one before bed. I bought a new bottle a couple days ago and the dosage is quite a bit higher, and just last night I have been experience a dull, throbbing pain in my left lower back area. Just curious if this has any relation?

Hello, Taking Biotin regularly is unlikely to have any bad effect on the kidneys. It is a water soluble vitamin, which invariably gets excreted if taken in larger quantity. Thanks
