Does The Blocked Ear Cause Small Lumps On The Back Of My Neck?

Hi I was at the doctors last week and was told I needed my ears syringed as I have a lot of hard wax in my ears. Lately I have noticed 3 small lumps on the left side of the back of my neck. I have had one lump for almost a year and the others seem new. they are not visible only noticeable to touch, do you think my blocked ears and these lumps are connected?I ve had problems with my ears for almost a year also, problems being - not hearing properly, needed to pop my ears but cant.

Hello,

The small lumps in this region could be inflammatory lymph nodes, caused by an inner ear infection. For this reason, I would recommend cleaning your ears from the wax, in order to examine the inner ear better. Anyway, the situation does not seem to be anything serious, as there is a long period of time since you have noticed these lumps in your neck.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
