Does The Blood Report Indicate Any Abnormality During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am Bonnie. I am 40 years old and am pregnant (15 weeks) now for a second time. My Blood report shows LA1 Clotting Time 57.3 seconds, LA2 Clotting Time 41.4 seconds and LA1/LA2 Ratio 1.38. Is there any risk for my pregnancy? I am taking Ecosprin. Is the medication ok? Thanks

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The ratios and values appear normal.
If possible, upload the exact reports , as varying laboratories have various control values.
There is no risk apparently to your pregnancy.
Ecosprin is generally prescribed in pregnancies that are high risk ( such as yours, at 40 ).
It is given to reduce the risk of thrombosis ( clots ) developing in the blood vessels that supply blood and nutrition to the baby from the mother.
It enhances placental blood flow.
It is absolutely safe to be taken during pregnancy.
All the best.
Take care.
