Does The Following Blood Test Result Indicate Hypothyroidism?

My recent TSH blood test results show abnormal. 0.090 LF Does this mean I am hypothyroid? I am now taking Levothyroxine .0125mcg, 1 daily. Is this do age what I should be taking? My Doctor has now lowered my dosage from .0150 to the lower dose. I have continual weight gain, fatigue, cold spells almost daily where hands and feet are extremely cold so that I must use a blanket even while watching tv. Email: YYYY@YYYY

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

TSH has fallen to very low values due to high dose of thyroxine. Your doctor has correctly reduced the dose.Kindly continue the same dose and repeat the thyroid values after 20 to 30 days.

Kindly check your Thyroid autoantibodies level inorder to rule out any autoimmune causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
Dr.Saranya Ramadoss, General and Family Physician
