does a hernia move side to side it disappeared for a few seconds and came back it is size of a baseball had it for at least 4 months my husband had a emergency surgery he had staph infection from l-1 to L-5 to get the pockets of his spine it was back in 02\14 he is wearing a cath as been since the surgery he has had the hernia about a month after
