Does The Hole In Eardrum Heal Naturally In A Child?

Hello doctor, I m Sandhya.i hav 3years child.unfortunately my baby s eardrum was injured by a earbud 1week before.local doctor said large hole in eardrum and also she has infection.he gave antibiotics.sir she has slightly hearing loss problem.is that hole is heal by natural r not?

The hole in the ear drum would heal. It can take a few weeks but it should heal once the infection has been appropriately treated.

Her hearing should return to normal after the infection has resolved and the ear drum has healed.
