Does The Intake Of Avelox 400 Mg Lead To Itching?

I took my first dose of Avelox 400 mg. I am now up and itching everywhere? If this is from this medication, how long will I have to wait to stop itching. It is 4:27 in the am and my Dr. is not in until later. I can't sleep, and it's about to drive me crazy!
