Does The Lack Of Adnexal Masses And Fluid In The Cul-de-sac Mean Complications During Future Pregnancies?

Hi Doc, I m from the Philippines , I m 41 years old already and have no child yet .. I just done my ultrasound of my ovary , and one of the Doctor s comments of the result was ... 1 . I have no adnexal masses seen 2 . No cul de sac fluid Please tell me what is this means ? Does this means that it s hard for me to bear a child?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The following conclusions can be drawn based on your ultrasound scan report.
• No adnexal mass seen is to be considered as normal. It states that there are no lesions or growth in the tissues besides the uterus.
• No fluid in cul-de-sac also is to be considered as normal as fluid collection will be seen during pelvic inflammatory disease.

Hence, the report can be considered as normal but needs to be correlated clinically.
