Does The Light Bleeding During Pregnancy A Sign Of Miscarriage?

Hi,

I am 6 weeks pregnant had a little bit of spotting. Went to ER and told me that there is no significant bleed but the heartbeat measured 99bmp. the baby looks ok though..
does that mean i will have a miscarriage or the heartbeat is normal?

Thank,

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum.I got your query.Spotting happens with many pregnant women,so no need to worry much as your doctor told rest everything is ok.If the bleeding will become heavy and it will be associated with abdominal cramps or pain then there may be some risk. Now just keep on watching,if any changes consult the doctor soon.Till then take rest and continue the medicines prescribed by your doctor.Take care.
