Does The Pain In Buttock Due To A Fall Heal As Time Goes?

I fell off a loading dock and landed on my right side with the impact mostly on my buttock. This was six weeks ago and I still experience pain but only when I am seated for more than 10 minutes. I have no issues when lying down or walking around. Is this something that only time can heal?Rene
