Does The Scaly Circular Patch Indicate Ring Worm?

Hi, I have a scaly circular patch that is raised and I assume it is ring worm by the looks so I have been using the cream prescribed to me about a month ago for a different spot that was ring worm. Well I have been using the cream for 2 days now and it s drying up but today it was purple is that normal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The lesion may change color while it is healing. If you notice that it is not getting bigger and it is not causing any pain or discomfort, you may continue the antifungal cream.

If the lesion does not disappear in a week or if you notice any worsening, you will need to have it checked with your doctor.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.

Regards,
