Does The Shin Swelling With Pus Indicate An Infection?

I got stitches ten days ago in my left shin and where the bandage has been wrapped is swollen. I removed the bandage for an hour before it was replaced and I did not see any abnormal coloring. The bandage was slightly yellow from the puss and anti-biotic cream. Is it infected?
