Does The Sunscreen Lotion Increase The Outbreaks Of Pimples?
hi doc.. i have extremely oily and acne prone skin..... my face if full of pimples n scars... my doc advised me to avoid sunscreens as it might cause further eruptions.. i wanted to ask.. can i use suncreen for my skin... will it cause more breakouts?

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.
In general, acne prone skin tends to break out in response to oily or greasy cosmetics, therefore they should be avoided. Lotions and creams are oily and suitable for dry skin, however gels and aquagels are suitable for oily skin. Therefore if desired, it is ok to use a gel based OR Aquagel based sunscreen,which would not make you break out.
