Does The Uterus Polyp Need Monitoring Or Removal?

Hi
I had a pap smear done which was normal. Then I had a routine ultrasound of the uterus & ovaries. The doctor said that there was a white spot of 6mm on the uterus which she thought was a small polyp....what do you think and do I need to remove it or just monitor it???
