Does This Urine Test Report Indicate Infection?

My Mother (69 years) having pain in urinary some time in last 15 days. In urine report RBCs are 150-200/hpf and Epithelial is 10-15/hpf. X-Ray report showing 3 small stone. Is this urine infection severe?. Is infection may recovered by medicine/antibiotic only? Please suggest and mail me if possible on YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

As RBCs in urine are 150-200, so there is blood in urine and epithelial cells show infection. All these are due to renal stone. Treatment mainly depends upon the size. Kindly follow up with detailed history. If the stone is small up to 4 mm, then it will go by hydration therapy. To cover infection he may require antibiotics after consultation. Stay hydrated all day.
