Does Thyroid Dysfunction Cause Fatigue And Weight Gain?

I am off my thyroid medication for low thyroid right now. I am experiencing low energy, puffy , watering eyes, bloating, gas, weight gain. Are these symptoms of low thyroid? I am taking a break on advice from my doctor because of my levels from my last blood test 6 weeks ago.

Hello and welcome to the HealthcareMagic!

Yes, these symptoms could be from hypothyroidism.

For that Levothyroxine needs to be taken regularly.

Dosage has to be adjusted according to your TSH levels, every three months. But drug should not be stopped completely.

Please, provide me your TSH level.

Hope I have solved your query.

Take care
