Does Thyroid Problem Lead To Liver Problem?

i recently went to the doctor, did blood work and he called me in that one of the blood results showed i have a problem with my liver....i have thyroid and he said it maybe because of that too but he not sure thats why i'm going for a songram today.....what do u think?

Hi thanks for contacting health care magic.

Hyperthyroidism can affect multiple organs of our body.Liver can also be affected.so abnormal liver profile might present.
So treat hyperthyroidism with drugs.

Doctor want to do USG just to rule out fatty liver or hepatitis like changes.
If fatty liver, hepatitis or cirrhosis present then also abnormal liver profile can present.
So perform USG as advised by doctor.

Meanwhile take care of liver by taking low fat diet , fruits more and green leaf veg..
Regular exercise done.
