Does Tiredness Lead To High BP?

I am taking Prilace 10mg and cartia 100mg daily prescribed by my Dr for high blood pressure. I wondered why most days its around 119/80 to 135/85...then it can rise to 165/90 and stay that way quite a while. I do care for my elderly mother (94) and she has alot of ill health to deal with most days. I am 67 and slim, I walk daily and eat lots of veg. from garden and little meat, more fish. Can tiredness cause the rise?
