how long does trigger finger take to get better. my dr.gave me naproxen 500mg. I m wearing wrist support. I m wondering what makes the wrist so painfull . feels like my bones in wrist straight up from thump are snapping against each other which feels like rubberband snap

I understand your concern. Trigger finger is caused by inflammation of tendons in the finger or thumb.
With splinting, rest and pain medication, you may expect a recovery in up to six weeks.
