Does Undergoing Operation For Bartholin S Cyst Affect My Sexual Life?

I have been having recurring bartholin s cysts for four years now and I am wondering if opting for surgery will affect my lubrication, let alone my sex life. What does surgery mean for my sex life and does it guarantee that the problem will not recur?

Hi, thanks for writing..
There is 2 bartholin's gland.. Even if one is not functioning it would be sufficient for lubrication.. Only the cyst wall will be removed.. Bartholin's gland will be left alone.. So it is unlikely to affect your sexual life.. If you dont get the surgery done, there will be recurrent infection which can turn into abscess.. Hope I have answered your query.. Good day..
