Does Unsuccessful Abortion Cause Any Harm To The Baby?
hello
i used misoprostol vaginally for three days. took 3 on the first day and second day and then 1 pill on the third day. i am 7 weeks pregnant and nothing happened the whole time. i did not even feel any bad cramps at all. am worried that if am still pregnant will the baby be ok.

Understand your concern
Abortion pill should be used after consulting the gynecologist under its expert opinion and supervision. It is used up to 9 week of intrauterine pregnancy after pelvic examination and USG scan. For first trimester abortion: 800 ug misoprostol vaginally should be used. Repeated maximum up to thee dose every 6 hourly under medical surveillance. No bleeding and cramps are may be due to: incorrect application and schedule, ectopic pregnancy. It can cause fetal malformation (heart, skull and face deformity) and abnormal development of pregnancy if you continue the pregnancy. In non responding case, abortion should be done by surgical process like suction evacuation or by D & C by experience health care provider.
